Life Drawing in Oiled Charcoal - Beginners to Intermediate

Following in the footsteps of great Master draughtsman, like the Italian Bolognese artists Guercino and the Carracci, learn to draw the life model in the highly sensual medium of oiled charcoal. A medium that while maintaining aspects of the texture of charcoal, mirrors the deep blackness and smoothness of black chalk. This class will also introduce you to (or build upon) a knowledge of proportion, human anatomy and the shading and modelling of the human form.
