We welcome new tutors to our teaching community where you can design your own courses and work within a professional adult education environment.

Ideally, you will be qualified in your subject area, experienced in adult education, and comfortable delivering face-to-face, online, or hybrid learning.

You should have a passion for your subject and the ability to create inclusive, engaging learning experiences.

Art and Craft

Teach hands-on creative practice across drawing, painting, photography, and craft techniques.

Business and Finance

Deliver practical learning in business thinking, financial literacy, and workplace capability.

History

Guide learners through major civilisations, events, and historical movements across time and place.

Humanities

Facilitate discussion-based learning in ideas, society, belief systems, and cultural thought.

Languages

Support structured language learning through communication and cultural understanding.

Leisure and Wellbeing

Inspire learning through lifestyle interests including travel, gardening, hobbies, and wellbeing.

Music

Develop musical understanding through appreciation, performance, and vocal practice.

Technology

Build confidence in digital skills, artificial intelligence, and everyday technology use.

Vocational Training

Deliver accredited training pathways including Cert. IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122).

Teaching Terms

WEA Sydney delivers programs across four teaching terms each year, with flexible scheduling depending on course type and delivery mode.
