Trump's Third Term? - WEA Sydney

Trump's Third Term?

President Trump loves the political limelight so much, he has hinted that he might seek to extend his presidency beyond his second term. Such a move is almost without precedent in American history. Since 1951, the United States Constitution has legally barred a president from seeking a third term. There are also long-held social conventions in the United States which stand against such a move by the president. Additionally, the political obstacles which stand between Trump and another term make it seem impossible; and yet, as the man who has already done the politically impossible, could he do it again?
