Australian Women's History - WEA Sydney

Australian Women's History

We were the second country in the world where women got the vote. In 2010 we had a female Head of State, Governor General, Prime Minister, Governor, Premier, and Mayor. But how did that come about? Women, from the time Australian history has been written, have created, led, invented, achieved, nurtured, and won, and their stories are fascinating. Today we will explore the rights of women, and how they expanded, the achievements of women, and how they developed, and the stories of women, and how they should be remembered.
