George Shipp Memorial Lecture 2025: 'Complexity and Simplicity - Aboriginal Mental Health, Social and Emotional Wellbeing and Suicide Prevention'

This presentation will explore Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ mental health, social and emotional wellbeing, and suicide-prevention frameworks. It will trace key developments, including the launch of the 5th National Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Plan in 2017, and highlight pathways, principles and responsibilities for reducing distress and improving care across our communities.
