WEA Ramblers

The WEA Ramblers Sydney Bushwalking Club is a long established mid-sized Sydney-wide walking club with a varied program every weekend and on weekdays. Our members are of various ages and come from diverse backgrounds with varied interests and different levels of walking experience and ability.

We have walks through bush tracks in the National Parks in and around Sydney, on coastal, harbourside and riverside paths, through historic suburbs and the city. In short, we walk anywhere that is interesting, beautiful and often both at the same time. Nearly all our walks can be accessed using public transport. We sometimes run walking holidays further afield in scenic locations using cabin or motel accommodation as a base.

Why join us?

  • A fun way to stay active, build fitness and make friends
  • Experience the many benefits of walking in natural surroundings
  • Flexibility - join as many or as few walks as you wish
  • Variety - choose from a range of different walks and locations
  • Affordability - all this for just $25 annual membership

Can I try before joining?

Yes, you can come on up to 3 walks before becoming a member.

How do I join a walk?

A summary of walks for the current quarter can be browsed on the WEA Ramblers website. Full details of all walks are published in the quarterly program sent to all members (via email or post). Short Notice Walks are also emailed to all members.
