Claude Gonzalez is a Chilean-Australian film director, producer, lecturer and theatre director. He has created documentaries, television series and feature content for broadcasters in Australia, Japan, and France, and is the author of the play The Ballad of Edgar and Mary. He has lectured in film history and filmmaking for TAFE, AIT and NIDA, and was film curator for the Sydney Film Festival and for The Screening Room on ABC iView.

His work includes the feature documentaries Sydney at War, John Farrow: Hollywood's Man in the Shadows and Global Haywire; he was creator of David Stratton's Stories of Australian Cinema, and producer of At the Movies with David Stratton and Margaret Pomeranz.
