Continue developing your intermediate Spanish fluency and confidence with our Intermediate Spanish: B1.2 Course, suitable for learners who have completed our Intermediate Spanish: B1.1 Course or have approximately 220 hours of prior study. This course helps you strengthen your communication skills for everyday situations while deepening your understanding of Spanish grammar and vocabulary, making it ideal for learners wanting to learn the Spanish language for travel, work, or personal enrichment in a supportive, interactive learning environment.
You will learn to talk about future actions and situations, express conditions and hypotheses, summarise the plot of a book or film, tell stories in the present tense, and understand jokes. Grammar is taught in context, including covering the future simple, first conditional structures, expressions of probability, time expressions and storytelling connectors, conjunctions such as porque, aunque and sin embargo, and the correct use of direct and indirect object pronouns. Vocabulary practice includes future challenges, science and technology, film and literary genres, entertainment, and verbs related to storytelling, enabling you to express ideas clearly and creatively.

- Conjunctions: porque, como, pero, aunque, sin embargo
- Use and form of direct object and indirect object pronouns: lo, la, los, las, le, les
- Recognising and identifying the stressed syllable

LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Communicate effectively about future plans and hypothetical situations, including expressing conditions, creating predictions, telling stories in the present tense, summarising the plot of a book or film, and understanding simple humour and jokes.
- Use key grammatical structures to discuss future events and narrate clearly, including the future simple, first conditional sentences (si + presente + futuro), expressions of probability (seguramente, probablemente, seguro que + futuro), direct and indirect object pronouns (lo, la, los, las, le, les), time expressions, and connectors such as entonces, al final, de repente, aunque and sin embargo.
- Improve pronunciation and expand thematic vocabulary, focusing on identifying the stressed syllable, using natural rhythm in storytelling, and developing vocabulary related to future challenges, science and technology, cinema, literature, entertainment, and verbs of narration such as contar and narrar.
