Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context, covering subordinating conjunctions such as för att, genom att, and utan att, relative clauses, future tense forms, time adverbials, comparative adverbs, ser + adjective + ut, and definite adjective forms. Phonetics is integrated throughout, with practice on word stress, reductions and assimilations, and the pronunciation of phrasal verbs.
