This course explores a selection of ancient and modern assassinations, including figures such as Philip II of Macedon, William McKinley, Sergei Kirov, Aung San and Qasem Soleimani, and examines how these events influenced political change, revolution and international affairs. Participants will gain fresh perspectives on how individual acts of violence have sometimes redirected the course of history. Suitable for anyone interested in history and politics.
