World Music - A Cappella Ensemble

Discover world music through a cappella singing in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere! This four-week course provides an introduction to diverse vocal traditions from regions across the world. No previous singing experience is required - bring your voice and enthusiasm! Music selection will be tailored to the number of students and their voice types.

• Introduction to World Music: Learn about world music traditions and start with simple warm-ups and vocal exercises
• African Songs: Explore rhythmic African call-and-response
• Latin American Songs: Perform melodic Latin American folk songs
• Harmony and Ensemble Skills: Practice blending, tuning, and creating rich harmonies as a group
