2025 Year in Review - WEA Sydney

2025 Year in Review

The Wars in Gaza and the Ukraine have continued throughout 2025. The second term of President Trump since 20 Jan 2025 has created its own confronting challenges. Is China really a threat to peace in the Pacific region ? Unstable coalition governments in Europe are based on ever shifting alliances of strange political partners. Our newly elected Labor government with a huge parliamentary majority faces many new challenges including those relating to economic reforms and national defence. We now have a Pope with a Chicago accent who is not afraid to call out barbarism where he sees it.
