Proverbs offer a window into everyday language and cultural values. This course explores German sayings through discussion and practical use, examining their meanings, historical roots and social contexts. Participants are encouraged to actively use expressions while reflecting on what they reveal about German culture and communication. Suitable for language learners and anyone curious about how culture lives in everyday speech.

This course will be conducted in English but is suitable for learners with at least A2-level German or above who enjoy discussion-based learning and want to deepen their cultural understanding through language. Please bring a notebook and pen (a German-English Dictionary is optional but can be helpful).
