Beneath the quiet ground of Liverpool Pioneer Memorial Park lie the stories of people who helped shape New South Wales. This guided course uncovers dramatic, moving and sometimes surprising lives through the graves of settlers, convicts, landowners, officials and outsiders.
Led by storyteller and guide Jo Henwood, the ninety-minute tour brings history vividly to life through tales of whalers, walkers, liars, cops, crooks and more. A memorable experience for anyone interested in colonial history, biography and place-based storytelling.
Please ensure your mobile phone number is up-to-date with WEA before enrolling and ensure that you have it with you on the day in case the tutor needs to contact you.
