In this course we cover the 1950s to now, including the Chinese embassy affair, ASIOs infiltration by soviet spys, Lionel Murphy, Operation Augury and more. We will also talk briefly about AUKUS and how that has shifted Australia’s intelliegence focus. As we will see Australia can be as opaque as many other countries in this secret world.
