COURSE OUTLINE
- Two 2hr sessions suitable for travellers interested in exploring the artistic heritage of the Riviera and Southwestern France, who prefer to discover new sights independently at their own pace, rather than through organised group travel.
- The first session will highlight a variety of museums dedicated to individual artists such as Matisse, Picasso, Leger, Renoir and others, and how to get there.
- The sessions will aim to encourage discussion and contributions by participants, and share their experiences with the group.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Feel confident in seeking out art museums along the Riviera such as the Musée Matisse in Nice or the Musée Renoir at Cagnes-sur-Mer, under their own steam, using public transport or self-drive.
