Computers and tablets have become part of everyday life, but that doesn't mean everyone feels comfortable using them. If you've ever felt left behind by technology, avoided using your device because it seemed too complicated, or wished you had someone to show you the basics in a friendly way, this course is for you. Technology can help you connect with family and friends, pursue hobbies, access information and participate more fully in today's digital world. This course is a great opportunity to build your confidence, ask questions, meet other learners and discover that computers and tablets don't have to be intimidating.
The Tech Savvy Seniors program, delivered in partnership with the NSW Government and Telstra, offers government-funded digital literacy training for seniors aged 60 and over, and Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander elders aged 50 and over. The program supports participants with limited digital experience, helping them develop the skills and confidence to use technology, access online information and services, and stay connected with family and friends.
